Stone Temple Pilots ,

often abbreviated to STP, are an American rock band that consists of Scott Weiland (lead vocals), brothers Robert DeLeo (bass guitar, vocals) and Dean DeLeo (guitar), and Eric Kretz (drums, percussion).
Stone Temple Pilots is their sixth studio album. The album was released worldwide from May 21, 2010 through May 27, and is the band’s first album since their 2001 Shangri-La Dee Da. The album is the result of the band’s reunion, which occurred in April 2008 with their North American tour. After Stone Temple Pilots had begun playing together, the band decided to record again, but a lawsuit filed by Atlantic Records on June 12, 2008, made the sixth album an uncertainty, and Weiland released statements that expressed his disapproval of working with a major record label. Train ,

is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1994. The band currently comprises of a core trio of Patrick Monahan (lead vocalist), Jimmy Stafford (lead guitarist) and Scott Underwood (drummer).

Train achieved mainstream success with their debut album, Train, which was released in 1998. Their second album, Drops of Jupiter (2001) brought the band massive popularity. The lead single from the album, “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” was an international hit and won two Grammy Awards in 2002. The album was certified double platinum in the United States and Canada and remains the band’s best-selling album to date.

Their third studio album, My Private Nation, released in 2003, continued the band’s success, and was certified platinum in the United States. The band released their fourth album, For Me, It’s You in 2006. Despite a generally positive reception from critics, the album was commercially unsuccessful. Train then went on a three-year hiatus.

Train re-united and released their fifth studio album, Save Me San Francisco in 2009. The first single from the album, “Hey, Soul Sister” charted in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, their first song to do so in nine years and is the band’s second top ten hit, after “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)”. are a Northern Irish alternative rock band, with members from Northern Ireland and Scotland. Formed at the University of Dundee in 1994, the band is now based in Glasgow. The band’s first three records, the EP Starfighter Pilot, and the studio albums Songs for Polarbears and When It’s All Over We Still Have to Clear Up, were commercially unsuccessful and were released by independent labels Electric Honey and Jeepster, respectively. When the band moved to a major record label Polydor Records, they released their 2003 album Final Straw which surpassed 4x platinum sales in the UK.
